NHS Home Eye Examinations in and around the Kendal ,Barrow, Windermere, Milnthorpe towns of South Lakeland in addition to the areas in and around Carnforth, Morecambe and Lancaster.

                     I have been practicing as an Optometrist since 1990 and in addition as an NHS Domiciliary ( Home and Care Home Visiting ) Optician since 2009.  I am DBS (CRB) checked and currently operate in the South Lakes and North Lancashire area.

 In 1989 I graduated with a BSc Honours degree from the University of Manchester (UMIST) department of Optometry and Vision Sciences.

Following the successful completion of my professional exams in October 1990, I gained Membership of the College of Optometry. Since then I have worked in private corporate practice in West Yorkshire, Australia and New Zealand, before settling in South Lakeland in 1999.

My decision to settle in the Lake District was not a difficult one. I had been visiting since boyhood having always had a passion for the outdoors, particularly fell running, skiing, canoeing and walking (the latter two I now enjoy with my wife and daughter).

I love my work and feel very fortunate to be able to practice and live in such a beautiful location.
