Sight is possibly the most important of the senses,
enhancing every aspect of our lives.
Eyecare is not just about measuring you up for a pair of specs, it allows Optometrists to screen for problems like Glaucoma and can even reveal signs about your genereal health and blood pressure.
If you are housebound and find you are unable to attend an eye appointment at a High Street Opticians, you will be eligible for a home visit. A home visit, also known as a domiciliary visit means you can have your eyes tested in your own home. You will receive a FREE NHS full eye examination in exactly the same way as if your were visiting the High Street Opticians. Spectacles can also be prescribed and fitted if required (sample books can be brought to the visit).
If I am unavailable to take your call immediately, leave me a message with your name and number. When I call you back we will have a brief telephone conversation during which I will record details of your last eye examination, symptoms, and your address. We will then organise a mutually convenient appointment. Alternatively, you can contact me via email.
For further details on eligibility, take a look at the Eligibility page
